Just this Saturday, right after another small sacrifice of 500 people, famous artists will be selling their pieces of art to the noble class and the noble class only (such precious items can only belong to the upper class). This auction is held in honor of Xochipilli, god of art, for providing us with chances to barter for our art supplies. There will be many pieces of art sold to decorate your homes and even clothing will be displayed. Our theme this time is our recent conquest of a neighboring region as well as the art depicting the gods and animals. One of the types of art we will be selling is our world-famous life-like statues made of wood and stone. Birds, animals and even humans are depicted in these art pieces. They have a lot of expressions and show age- artists show the spirit of our society trying to conquer everything, even death. Useful pottery will be sold alongside that. Most will be about our gods and our culture but we will have ones about our recent conquest and even chances for you to get custom ones for only a little more cocoa beans. As for the clothing section, be sure to get new headdresses, clothing and jewelry. We use quality gold, silver, copper, jewels, feathers, coral, clay and stone to make our art pieces. We trade for most of our materials and we even will trade leftover pieces of art for more materials. A new addition this time will be mosaics. Handcrafted from turquoise and shells, your mask could turn from boring to fantastic. Even your child would enjoy coming to the auction as story books will be sold, full of art, imagination and pictographs. Small statues can also be a great toy as well. And after receiving a fresh batch of bartered feathers, be sure to check out the rainbow headdresses. Even Montezuma’s son Tlaltecatzin would approve.

So come on down to the temple and impress your servants and your friends with your new, stylish clothing, jewelry and art. You may even get to see Montezuma- but please do not bombard him with questions and/or your favorite parts to eat of the human body or you may spend up to a year in prison.
