Being Healthy: A New Fit Plan

Are you tired of being called fat, unhealthy or lazy? Well now with this new fit plan, you can become a better, healthier you. The two most important things that make you healthier is a healthy diet and good exercise. First let's talk about some exercises you can do, then easy recipes that you can make at home while looking after your children.

If you are a farmer or any of the middle class people, chances are that you have a lot of exercise already incorporated into your daily life. But too much exercise is never a thing. One really easy exercise you can do is to pretend you are holding a baby up in the air. Or better, actually hold a baby in the air. Slowly raise the baby up, hold the pose for 5 seconds breathing in and out slowly, then put the baby down really fast. Do this 20 times each time you exercise. This next one is really good for getting up in the morning. Pretend you are the rising sun, spread your legs and arms out as far as they can go and hold this for three seconds while holding your breath. Then slowly put your arms in front of you, your fingers touching, while breathing out. Do this 15 times in the morning for a refreshing wake up. You can do the rising sun while lying on the ground too. An exercise you can do is to run up and down the temple stairs since they rise up to the heavens. You can do this while holding the baby too. Next, get down on the ground and do the plank, pretend one of the gods are sitting on you so make your back very, very straight. Maybe you can even have your child sit on you. Lastly, reach up to the heavens. Pretend that you can get to the omeyoca part of heaven if you stretch far enough. What a great way to start your day, thinking that you can get to the best part of heaven if you try hard enough.

But exercise isn't all that makes a healthy person. Diet is very important too. There are many things you can eat to be healthy but that's not enough, you need a nutritious meal and not just snacks to be healthy. You can make easy and healthy meals with these recipes.

All you need for this recipe are following items which can be bought at the market.

  • Corn flour

  • Water

  • Bean paste

  • Chocolate (optional)

  • Corn

  • Meat (possibly duck or Turkey)

  • Shrimp

First, mix together the corn flour and water to make dough. Then make the dough into a disk shaped tortilla or tortillas. Bake your tortilla in your community baking hole and wait for it to cool. Second, spread the bean paste onto the flat tortilla. Then, place the meat pieces in a circle in the outer edge of the tortilla (not the very edge.)

After that, place the shrimp inside the outer meat layer. Then place the corn into the middle. Finally, top it off with a little bit of chocolate shavings if you can afford it. This recipe might be hard for some people, so we suggest if you are not a fisher and cannot get shrimp, you can just use peppers instead. Corn is always a good and healthy choice of food, it is also very easy to get since it grows almost everywhere. Turkey meat might be very hard to get for the middle class and peasants. The meat part of the recipe should be used if they are in the noble or merchant class, chocolate too. Since the God stole chocolate from the tree of life and gave it to us, chocolate is a very precious resource.

The second recipe is very easy to make too with very good results. It is a two part meal. This recipe requires:

  • A pot

  • Beans

  • Chilies

  • Tomatoes

  • Sweet potatoes

  • Peanuts

  • Cashews

  • Squash

  • Salt

  • Water

  • Shrimp or worms

First, put the sweet potatoes into your community baking hole, you can cut the potatoes or just leave them as they are. Then, go back home and heat of your pot. When the pot starts to get hot, put a little bit of oil in and then toss in your shrimp or worms. Sprinkle some salt on the meat and stir it. After the shrimp turns pink, add in your beans and chilies. Beware not to put too much in or it’ll set your mouth on fire. Stir the pot while you wait, then add in the cut up tomatoes and squash. Stir everything together for 2 minutes or until the tomatoes become mushy then add the water. Only a little water though, don’t make the mix too watery or it’ll become soup. It should be thick but not dry. Lastly, cut your peanuts and cashews into little pieces and throw them into the mixture and stir. While you are doing this part, you should send your kid to go get you baked sweet potatoes. Now, serve the stew along with the hot sweet potatoes. What a healthy and yummy meal!

So being healthy isn’t as hard as some people may say it is. I mean, we do get a lot of exercise daily from hitting our children, teaching our daughters how to take care of the house, and climbing the temple staircase with our neighbors to go draw blood. But with these simple tricks, exercise will be even better!
